The RDA hosts two studio strolls each year; one during the second weekend in June and the other during the second weekend in November. This is a great time to see the art being created in the River District because many studios are typically only open by appointment or chance.

Asheville Area Arts Council

The AAAC is the hub of Asheville's Art community. They have several exhibition spaces, provide grants for artists, educators and organizations, and offer workshops intended to help artists with publicity, accounting, etc.

Mountain Biz Works

Mountain Biz Works is non-profit organization which provides small business education classes.

Odyssey Center for the Ceramic Arts

The Odyssey Center for the Ceramic Arts offers classes, studio space, and residencies.
